MIH Consulting is pleased to be working with the 2008 Alberta Winter Games being held in Leduc, Alberta February 14 - 17, 2008.

GAMES FAST FACTS:

Ø 2800 athletes, coaches and officials are participating in 24 sports

Ø Athletes range between 11 and 17 representing 8 zones around Alberta

Ø 5 partners - The City of Leduc, Leduc County , Black Gold School Division, St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic School Division and the Alberta Sport Recreation Parks & Wildlife Foundation

Ø 50 venues in Leduc, Beaumont, Calmar, Millet and Edmonton

Ø 2500 volunteers will be needed along with 10 – 12 staff

Ø 4000 spectators are expected with an estimated Economic Impact of $3 million
